Crispy and delicious fried chicken

This fried chicken recipe uses soybean oil to give the chicken a great flavor and incredible crispiness

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Soybean oil for frying

Ingredients:

Prepare the chicken: Wash the chicken pieces and pat them dry with paper towels. If the pieces are large, you can slice them a little thinner. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken.
Prepare the breadcrumbs: In three separate plates, combine the following ingredients:
Plate 1: White flour
Plate 2: Whisk the eggs in a small bowl until smooth.
Plate 3: Mix together the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Bread the chicken: Roll each piece of chicken in the white flour until completely coated, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, making sure that all of the chicken is coated in the breadcrumbs.Frying: In a deep frying pan, pour the soybean oil and heat over medium heat. The heat should be high enough that when you drop a piece of breadcrumbs into the oil, it bubbles but does not burn. Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil, making sure to fry on all surfaces. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
Drain: After frying, place the chicken pieces on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve: Serve the fried chicken with salad, fried potatoes or any other side dish of your choice.
Tips:

For extra crispiness, you can refrigerate the chicken for about 10 minutes after dipping it in the egg and then roll it in the breadcrumbs.

You can use other spices like coriander powder or a little red pepper for more spiciness.
